Nabadwip, originally Naodah (ˌnæbəˈdwi:p), city, a Municipality in Nadia district in West Bengal (India), on the western bank of the Bhagirathi river. The Bhagirathi river originally used to flow west of Nabadwip, forming a boundary between the districts of Bardhaman and Nadia.
